Team Member of the Year 2023

Date: 1 February 2024

At Roberts + Morrow, we hold our team members in high regard and take pleasure in recognising those who have demonstrated exceptional dedication.

Annually, each team member has the opportunity to nominate someone for the ‘Team Member of the Year’ award, choosing an individual they feel has surpassed their role while embodying our core values of energy, pride, diversity, integrity, and teamwork.

In the year 2023, we were privileged to have an outstanding team member who truly shone. Steven Tanner, serving as the Accounting Manager in our Brisbane office. We posed a few questions to gain insights into his noteworthy achievements…

What does it mean to you to be recognised for your hard work and achievements?

I’ve never been very good at receiving praise, but it is great to be recognised for making a strong contribution to the team. Thank you again to my immediate team members for their help, very much a team effort!

Do you have any advice for others looking to take out the title in 2024?

Embrace challenges and bring positive energy to the team everyday. Leadership exists at all levels and isn’t based on hierarchy. If you’re a Manager, invest in your team, provide guidance and trust in them. If you’re a graduate, be an enthusiastic learning machine and seek out ways to develop your skills.

We would like to thank all of our team members for their hard work and significant contributions to Roberts + Morrow.
