Armidale Keynote Event – Leading on the Edge

Date: 29 April 2026

Last week, we were proud to host the Leading on the Edge Keynote Event in Armidale as part of R+M’s 75‑year celebrations.

Held at the Armidale Ex‑Services Memorial Club, the event brought together clients and business leaders from across the New England North West. While Armidale was our host location, the occasion was a chance to celebrate the people who make up Roberts + Morrow across all our offices – Brisbane, Tamworth, Glen Innes, Narrabri and Armidale – along with our RMT teams across the business.

Partner Paul Williams opened the afternoon, reflecting on our long‑standing connection to the region and the importance of investing in leadership, people and community as our firm continues to grow.

Our keynote speaker, leadership expert and former Antarctic expedition leader Rachael Robertson, shared powerful and practical insights on leadership, teamwork and decision‑making – drawing on lessons from one of the most extreme environments on Earth.

Strong leadership is built on clarity, trust and consistency – especially when navigating uncertainty.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of insight, conversation and connection. A fitting way to mark our milestone while giving back to the regional business community.
