MYOB announces major software update for Essentials: here’s what you need to know

MYOB have officially announced an upgrade to MYOB Essentials, launching an additional upgrade to the accounting software called ‘new essentials’. The upgrade will feature more flexibility for payroll, highly customized reporting, plus a responsive and user friendly design and interface – including a new employee management and self-service function. With changes expected to happen overnight, MYOB clients can expect to log in and see the new Essentials rolled out within the next 6 months.

According to the MYOB website, “[the MYOB Essentials upgrade] will help you and your clients get an even greater understanding of how your business is performing and will create major time efficiencies for you, enabling you to get more done. Fully rebuilt with powerful new reporting and payroll, streamlined workflows, and an expanded app marketplace, it’s one of our efforts to help businesses start, survive and succeed, during these tough times.”

According to Accounts Daily, in addition to the upgrade MYOB Essentials customers will also have access to integrations from over 150 additional apps and add-ons.
