$75,000 Special Disaster Relief Grants for Primary Producers

Date: 23 July 2025
Primary producers and aquaculture producers impacted by the NSW East Coast Severe Weather event from 18 May 2025 (AGRN 1212) can now access additional financial assistance to support recovery.

Due to the scale of damage from this event, the $75,000 Special Disaster Relief Grant has been announced, replacing the $25,000 Natural Disaster Relief Grant for affected primary producers and aquaculture producers.

The $25,000 Natural Disaster Relief Grant remains available for those affected by the Tropical Cyclone Alfred event (AGRN 1198), which began on 3 March 2025.

These grants are designed to reduce disruption and assist with recovery by contributing to the cost of repairs and restoration across impacted areas.

How to prove direct damages

Direct damage refers to physical damage caused by the disaster event. To qualify for one of the grants, you must provide evidence of direct damage to your property.

When applying, you will be asked to provide up to five photographs with time, date and location stamps.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the RAA website. Contact our team if you require more information.
