Congratulations to Bernadette Garratt on 20 years!!

Date: 18 October 2023

Bernadette Garratt, one of our amazing Business Services Partners, recently reached a special milestone. September marked her 20 years as a Partner of Roberts + Morrow. Well done Bernie on an amazing achievement. We thank you for your hard work and dedication to the firm.

We asked her a few questions to reflect on the past twenty years…

When did you begin working here, and what role?

I began working at Roberts + Morrow in 2003 after I completed my Cert III in Business Administration at TAFE. My role was as a junior personal assistant, providing support for another personal assistant in the business services team.

Why R+M initially, and why today?

My aunt was a client of R+M and she put me in touch with her accountant, before I knew it I had an interview with one of the Partners. My first week comprised of work experience as part of my TAFE course and from there I was offered a position. I choose R+M today because I love the team members I work with as I not only learn from them everyday, but also have fun while doing it.

What has changed the most over your twenty years?

The growth in R+M business is the biggest change over my twenty years. When I first started at the firm, Business Services, Financial Planning + IT were our only specialist teams. Over the years the growth in each specialist service offering has enabled R+M to continue to meet the needs of our clients and do it with confidence, knowing that our team members are delivering a quality service.
